I have happy news today which I'm excited to share with you: following a lot of correspondence and number crunching, I've got us better pricing on our mill dyed yarns - as in the cost of them to us. I'm obviously delighted about it, as it means I've just been able to a) reduce the retail prices, b) reduce the wholesale prices, and c) increase the margin that shops will be able to make on the yarns, making them more viable (it's not easy coming up with these numbers!). You can see the newly priced yarns at http://www.edencottageyarns.co.uk I'm particularly happy about reducing the recommended retail price of Whitfell Chunky from £14.00 per 100g skein/ball to £11.99! Milburn 4ply is now £6.99 per 50g ball (I've reduced the skeins so we can clear those remaining); Askham 4ply is now £5.99 per 50g ball; and Whitfell DK is also now £5.99 per 50g ball. And there are 500g packs of these yarns, with a bit of a discount on them. Yippee! Milburn 4ply in Blossom is discontinued as many of you will already know, so that's £3.99 per 50g skein or £34.99 for a pack of ten for as long as we have some left. I'll be updating our wholesale price list imminently, so if you'd like to see it please get in touch via the contact us form on the website.
