Today I thought I'd talk a little about Lapsang; a pattern by Clare Devine, as part of the Tea Party collection. She has also blogged today about the story of this lovely pattern HERE. _DSC9818 This is my second Lapsang (Raveled HERE); it took me about four hours to make.. So it's one that you can come back to over and over again. Need a gift for tomorrow? Cast on tonight, and you can have it blocked overnight, ready for tomorrow. Awesome! _DSC9828_DSC9831 The yarn I used is the same as in my previous post (and I'm sure will feature in many, many more) - it's Whitfell Chunky in the lovely new Steel shade. It's HERE if you're interested.  Note: Should you want to make, say, five hats in this yarn, you'll get 10% off your shopping cart when you add five or more 100g skeins (this is a permanent thing). IMG_6885 There's a Tea Party KAL happening over in Clare's group on Ravelry as well, for more handknit-hat-enabling (which I wholeheartedly condone).
