A handknit hat: Lapsang

Today I thought I'd talk a little about Lapsang; a pattern by Clare Devine, as part of the Tea Party collection. She has also blogged today about the story of this lovely pattern HERE. This is my second Lapsang (Raveled HERE); it took me about four hours to make.. So it's one that you can come back to over and over again. Need a gift for tomorrow? Cast on tonight,and you can have it blocked overnight, ready for tomorrow. Awesome! The yarn I used is the same as in my previous post (and I'm sure will feature in many, many more) - it's Whitfell Chunky in the lovely new Steel shade.
