This listing is for Brimham DK, our superwash merino/nylon DK yarn, dyed to order in the quantity and colourway(s) you request - designed so that you can get sweater quantities (or more). We will dye this to order for you so that you have all one dyelot; we aim to ship the yarn within two to three weeks of your order being placed. If you order pre-order yarn with yarn that is in stock we will ship all items together once the pre-order yarn is ready.

Like its lighter weight counterpart Brimham DK is a very soft, squishy yarn which has just the right amount of bounce but also a little drape. The extrafine merino is the best quality we can get, and it has a little nylon added for extra strength and durability. This makes it very versatile for all sorts of projects from accessories to garments.

Machine washable on a gentle cycle
(although we recommend handwashing all handknits/crochet if possible)
Lay flat to dry
We recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark and light colours together.
As with all hand dyed yarns, I would recommend that you use two skeins at a time, alternating from each one every couple of rows/rounds (unless it's a one-skein project).
