Magic Circles crochet scarf (wrap) by Janie Crow: Print pattern
Printed copy of the Magic Circles crocheted wrap/scarf pattern by Janie Crow.
This is SUCH a beautiful pattern - Jane has used my yarn palette to create just the most perfect project for it. She’s combined the colours really cleverly, and the tiny tassels are the icing on the cake. I honestly can’t gush enough about it. 🤣🥰
Note: The original design was made using Autumn Fields which has been discontinued. We have two options for you to choose from with either Compost or Black Tulip in place of Autumn Fields. Both are shown in the pictures.
Introduction by Jane:
“I love looking at how shapes fit together and have wanted to create a tessellating circle design for some time. Circular motifs can be tricky to fit together and it is common to find the circular shape becomes slightly distorted when motifs are pieced together, so rather than create motifs that are square or octagonal, I designed cross-shaped infill pieces that protect the shape of the large circles.
This pattern was originally written for a blanket, but when I saw the beautiful range of shades available in Eden Cottage Milburn DK range I knew I had to make a scarf version”. Jane has published a YouTube video explaining the joining technique and you can see it HERE.
