This lace slouch beanie designed by Joanne Scrace hides a secret…worked into the pretty lacepattern is an original cipher code, ‘Baudot’ from Bletchley Park. It reads, ‘knit, tink, knit, tink’. Here's hoping you'll enjoy the knitting and not have to do too much of the tinking!

Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn 4ply (4ply/Fingering weight; 85% Bluefaced Leicester Wool, 15% Silk; 200m /218yds per 50g skein)
