Tunny by Joanne Scrace: Inspired by the cogs of the Lorenz cipher machine or ‘Tunny’ as it was referred to, this crochet hat has a vintage fair-isle look but only one colour is used at a time.

Materials
Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn 4ply (4ply/Fingering weight; 85% Bluefaced Leicester Wool, 15% Silk; 200m /218yds per 50g skein)
1 skein for each size in 3 shades:

Gauge
22sts and 12 rows to 10cm (4in) in treble crochet using 3.5mm hook or size needed to achieve gauge, after blocking
