Shawl love: Masgot

This is Masgot by Justyna Lorkowska. It's been at lots of shows with me over the past year (I finished it in Nov 2015) and had a lot of compliments. It has a simple construction, is fun and relaxing to knit, and it's great to wear. The yarns I used are: 2 x Milburn 4ply in Steel; 2 x Milburn 4ply in Natural; and 1 x Askham 4ply in Air for the contrast colour. Those are 50g balls by the way. You can find them HERE. Featured FO: Hut 8

Today I thought I'd show you my lovely Hut 8 cardigan. I finished it ages ago (in April), have worn it loads, and finally got these pics when we were in Ireland in June (and it's now November, ahem)..        This is pertinent now because Askham 4ply is currently 25% off (I haven't decided how long for yet), and the mild weather means it's still good for 4ply garments! I just liked not having to alternate skeins, which is lazy I know. This colour way is Crocosmia - it goes with a surprising range of other wardrobe staples.    ...

Trailing Ivy in Simply Knitting 135 – available to purchase from 19th June 2015 These gorgeous socks are designed by Clare Devine, and feature lovely rich cables.
