Project gallery: Pendle Sport

Here's a gallery of projects which use my hand dyed Pendle Sport yarn. Pendle Sport is 100% superwash extrafine merino with 100g/300, and between myself and the testers we agreed that we'd recommend 3-5mm hooks and needles for it. It's a versatile, soft, and yet hardwearing yarn which proved very popular with said testers (if it hadn't done I wouldn't have continued with it)! For us Brits sport weight yarn is a bit of a new addition to our repertoire so I thought having a range of test projects would be really helpful so that you can see what it makes. Sport weight...

Project gallery: Oakworth 4ply

Here's a gallery of projects which use my hand dyed Oakworth 4ply yarn. Oakworth 4ply (100g/400m) is superwash Powarth wool, which is woollier than merino but not as woolly as Bluefaced Leicester. It's a smooth and hardwearing yarn with a slight sheen to it. It's also incredibly versatile - you can use it for pure wool socks just as well as lacy shawls and colourwork jumpers.  Just FYI - there are no links to Ravelry here. Do you have a project using Oakworth 4ply which you would like me to include in this gallery? Email me at info@edencottageyarns.co.uk with an image and the pattern information and I will...

Pattern gallery: Brimham Aran

Here's a gallery of patterns which call for Brimham Aran. It's currently a very short list despite the fact that it's sold well since I introduced it (it's still a fairly new yarn). Brimham Aran (100g/180m) is superwash extrafine merino/nylon which is lovely and squishy and soft yet hardwearing. It's a brilliant choice for garments as well as accessories.  Just FYI - there are no links to Ravelry here. Do you have a pattern using Brimham Aran which you would like me to include in this gallery? Email me at info@edencottageyarns.co.uk with an image and the pattern information and I will add it.   Honeycomb Scarf and...
