We love alpaca at ECY, but feel like it's perhaps underestimated, or a bit under-appreciated. Neutral colours at Eden Cottage Yarns: why we love them and which ones to look out for!
Can we talk about neutral colours for a moment? Firstly, what constitutes a neutral? For me it’s a colour that isn’t leaning towards any particular colour group, if that makes sense. I suppose another criteria would be that it goes with everything, or most other colours. It starts with white, black, and grey, of course, but then for me it extends to beiges, oatmeals, browns, and creams. October's handmade wardrobe
I thought I'd share some of the handmade wardrobe we used last month - after all, his is largely what it's all about, isn't it? New yarn!
I'm sure many of you will have seen news of these yarns floating around the ether, but for those who haven't - we have some new yarn! I'm trying to bring more neutral shades into our mill dyed yarn ranges, and if you're wondering why I didn't do that in the first place, well I just didn't have enough shades to choose to be able to fit in all the neutrals I would like!
