The fourth and final design of the Four Seasons Collection by Jayalakshmi of Apoorva Designs has now been released and so this feels like the perfect opportunity to look back over this wonderful collaboration. The other night we went out for dinner and I wore this shawl, so it reminded me I should feature it on the blog. It's had a lot of compliments at shows as well - it's called Sister Syster and is by Asa Tricosa. As you can see, it's a clever design. It flows both in design and to wear, thanks to the crossing cables both in the body and along the beautifully structured edging. It requires 800-900 yards, so with 218yds per 50g ball of Milburn 4ply (which is what this one is made in) you'll need four or five...
