A cosy aran weight knitted shawl: Midnight Sunset
We're very keen on all things cosy right now - winter in the UK seems to shift a bit later every year which is great for us knitters and crocheters who love to bundle up in our handmade pieces. Or is that just me?! With this in mind Ruth McKeon aka Knitterarium's latest shawl pattern release is really striking a chord with me! It's a big semi-circle shawl which has both lace and cosy garter stitch sections, and rather unusually it's made in aran weight yarn. FFFS! No not that. This is the Fuss Free Festival Shawl by Louise Tilbrook - if you're in the Everyday Knitter Facebook group you'll have undoubtedly seen posts about this. Ebb and Flow - a new collection by Anni Howard
Hello! Today I wanted to tell you about something we've mentioned in our newsletter but haven't talked about on here - Anni Howard's latest new collection, Ebb and Flow, a range of knit and crochet designs inspired by the bleak beauty of the Essex coastline and river estuaries. Eden Cottage Yarns are used in three of the four designs. New Pattern: Carved Stone Ball Socks
Introducing... Carved Stone Ball Socks, a new pattern by Sarah Foxley. I won't mess about - you can find the (FREE) pattern HERE on Ravelry.
