Brimham Bio Fingering: Projects and Patterns using our first yarn with biodegradable nylon

This blog post is designed as a useful resource for inspiration for a specific yarn. There are projects that use it, and patterns that call for it. It's so handy to have all this in one place!  Just FYI - there are no links to Ravelry here. We've linked to patterns and projects that are available to purchase/view elsewhere. If they're only available on Ravelry we will say that, but not link to it.  Brimham Bio Fingering is a light fingering weight yarn and is a blend of superwash extrafine merino with biodegradable nylon. Biodegradable nylon is as durable and...

Introducing Keld Twist: merino and linen fingering weight yarn with a twist

You may be familiar with our other merino/linen yarns Keld Fingering and Keld Aran which have been popular since their introduction over the past couple of years. Our newest yarn combines the qualities of these two yarns to give a two ply fingering/4ply weight yarn which is soft enough to wear next to skin and has a rustic effect due to the linen being visible throughout the yarn. These linen fibres don't take the dye and so the yarn has a subtle marled effect which is more striking for darker colourways.  Stats: 83.3% superwash merino, 16.7% linen100g375m/410yds2.5 - 4mm needles (US 1-6)2.5...

Titus Fingering: projects and patterns using our merino/silk singles yarn

It occurred to us that it might be really useful to have an ECY way to browse patterns and projects made using specific yarns, for inspiration and ideas. It's one of those things where once you think of it it seems blatantly obvious 🙈🤣  Just FYI - there are no links to Ravelry here. We've linked to patterns and projects that are available to purchase/view elsewhere.  Titus Fingering is a beautiful luxury singles yarn which has that classic shine and lustre from the silk, but also has the structure and bounce of merino wool. It strikes us as primarily a garment...

Carlisle Fingering: projects and patterns using our merino singles yarn

This blog post is designed as a useful resource for inspiration for a specific yarn. There are projects that use it, and patterns that call for it. It's so handy to have all this in one place!  Just FYI - there are no links to Ravelry here. We've linked to patterns and projects that are available to purchase/view elsewhere. If they're only available on Ravelry we will say that, but not link to it.  Carlisle Fingering is our superwash merino singles yarn and is soft, smooth, smooshy, and cloud-like. It knits/crochets into a soft, snuggly fabric with a little bit...
